What types of Care Packs are Available?

Consumer or Home Devices

  • Choose between a Care Pack and a Post-Warranty Plan.  Care Packs provide an enhanced level of support and/or an extended period of coverage for your HP hardware – and can be purchased within the first year of hardware purchases.

Commercial or Business Devices

  • Choose between a Care Pack and a Post-Warranty Plan.
  • Care Packs can be purchased at time of sale of supported product, or within 90 days of purchase
  • Post Warranty plans can be purchased no earlier than 90 days prior to expiration of the original product warranty or previously purchased HP Care Pack – and no later than 30 days following expiration of the product warranty or previously purchased Care Pack.
  • Only one Post Warranty and HP Care Pack can be purchased and registered on the same product at the same time.
